Brooke Vinson retired from a long and successful career in investment and finance. After earning his economics degree at Illinois State University, he utilized his tennis skills in traveling the world, teaching the sport at resorts in locales ranging from The Bahamas to Hawaii. During this time Brooke Eugene Vinson honed public speaking skills, giving talks before audiences as large as 600, and establishing lasting personal and professional networks.
Tennis was an ideal opportunity for coming into contact with business people, which allowed Mr. Vinson to segue seamlessly into the role of an investment manager. Working primarily with high net worth clients, he delivered relevant and timely advice and helped build diversified, goal-oriented portfolios.
As a Charles Schwab and Co. client advisor in Hawaii, Mr. Vinson launched the company’s first Private Client Services offering. He traveled regularly across the islands, building assets under management from zero to $125 million and achieving a clientele extending to individuals, families,foundations and local businesses. Among his passions are skiing, tennis, and travel photography, and he has had the opportunity to visit locales such as Venice, Monte Carlo, Paris, Singapore, and Cuba.
